The third annual Golf for a Cause
charity tournament, hosted by United
Way Waterloo Region and presented by
Sun Life, brought together community
members, businesses, and supporters
for an incredible day of connection,
friendly competition, and impact. The
event raised funds to support vital local
programs and services that help
strengthen our community and create
lasting change.
United Way Waterloo Region’s 7th
Annual March of 1,000 Umbrellas
brought together more than 600
community members, local leaders,
workplaces, and non-profit partners
for the largest turnout yet for United
Way’s annual campaign launch.
Participants marched from Waterloo
City Hall to Kitchener City Hall, raising
umbrellas as symbols of protection,
unity, and collective action.

winning team: Andrew More, David
Farhood, Darren Bondy, and Nick
Burke.
