KW Titans – All Star
Partnership
In 2025, we were proud to partner with the
KW Titans to strengthen community
connection and awareness of local
resources. Through this partnership, United
Way Waterloo Region shared information
about our work in game programs, while
funded
community
partners
were
welcomed at games to promote their
services and connect with local residents.
The Titans also generously provided tickets
for some of our funded partners and their
communities.
Our CEO, Joan Fisk, participated in the
ceremonial tip-off at the Titans’ March 3
home game, celebrating our shared
commitment to community.
We’re grateful to the KW Titans for their
generosity, partnership, and shared
commitment to building a stronger, more
connected community.
Grand River Pride
In June, we celebrated Pride Month by joining
Grand River Pride’s Cambridge Pride Fest
Street Party. Together, we celebrated a
community where 2SLGBTQIA+ people feel
welcomed, safe, valued, and celebrated—
regardless of who they are or who they love.
EY Bike Build
In September, our friends at EY came together
for a team-building event and built 8 new
bikes, which were donated to our partners at
Kinbridge Community Centre. For families
facing financial challenges, a bike can provide
freedom, connection, and opportunity. We’re
grateful to EY for creating meaningful impact
through this thoughtful initiative.
