The Impact
According to Spectrum Waterloo Region, 95% of
participants reported feeling safe and included at its
programs, while more than 7400 people accessed
services and supports throughout the year.
According to Kinbridge Community Association,
its 3 community sites welcomed 22,192 visits,
providing accessible spaces for recreation,
connection, and community engagement.
According to Kind Minds Family Wellness,
2,865 individuals accessed culturally
responsive supports related to mental
wellness, healthcare navigation, housing,
food security, settlement, and community
connection, helping people build
supportive relationships, confidence, and
stronger connections to community.

Funded Partners
A parent of two children shared how Kinbridge
Community Association's affordable March Break
camp and evening recreation programs helped
their family overcome barriers to participation.
Prior to accessing these programs, the family had
limited opportunities to engage in structured
community activities. Through Kinbridge's
community spaces, their children were able to
build friendships, participate in recreation, and
develop a stronger sense of connection to their
neighbourhood.
This reflects the broader role community
organizations play in creating welcoming spaces
where residents can connect, participate, and
belong.
