Giving Tuesday
On Giving Tuesday, our community came together
to make an incredible difference for people across
Waterloo Region. Thanks to the generosity of a
donor who offered a $50,000 matching gift,
every donation had the opportunity to go even
further in supporting urgent local needs—from
food security and emergency shelter to mental
health supports and essential basic needs.
Together, our community raised an incredible
h$111,740 helping ensure that vital resources
reach the people and communities who need them
most. This generosity is a powerful reminder of
what we can accomplish when we come together to
create meaningful change right here at home.
Holiday Giving
During the holiday season, our community came
together to support neighbours facing difficult
choices amid ongoing affordability challenges.
Through our Holiday Giving initiative, generous
donors helped provide essential support—from
food and emergency shelter alternatives to safe,
independent housing.
