United Way is dedicated
to bringing together
funded partners, various
sectors, and community
members to address
local needs and deliver
essential services.
People know the United Way Waterloo Region
Communities as a fundraiser and granting body for
local charities and causes. At Volunteer Waterloo
Region their financial support is vital to our work,
but their partnership and support go much further.
We are grateful that they provide a community
space with current technologies that we are able to
access, free of charge, to host workshops and larger
meetings to build a more engaged region.
Community service organizations, like ours, depend
on volunteers and those that support them. Having
a readily accessible, no cost space is a valuable
source of support when community meeting spaces
are in high demand.
